The baby arrived in the year of the dragon so what else could one give her than a baby dragon made of stamps of course.

Lilien, my husband’s first grandchild was expected with great love. As I have devoted much attention to the Chinese horoscope recently, we know well that the year of the Dragon started on February 10 so the present to Lile and her parents was prepared in this spirit. The colour of blue is a kind of dominant in the family. To produce this I used many, many Polish stamps, more exactly two parts of these stamps only. I used a cross stitched model to paint the lovable, friendly baby dragon with a flower crown, what else of course, on her head. The background was painted by using the stamps I received from the Slovak Post earlier.
