As a matter of fact this is my first portrait and it was painted for my supporters, the Sutóczky family. Their daughter Kinga works in a library so when the idea to make this portrait was raised I remembered a very nice Hungarian stamp featuring a young lady holding a book in her hands sitting before a bookshelf. This stamp would make an excellent backgound, I thought. The photo which I received from them and used upon their approval was printed according to my usual already technique on the back of stamps. I painted a unique necklace also for her by using Swedish stamps. I was still to paint her clothes when I remembered that her profile photo on the Facebook at that time featured a sailboat. Thus her clothes got a blue see look with a sailbout on it!
