A stage manager, an art historian, a soldier and an economist. I think it is not so easy to find such a quadruple of people but each of them maintains a certain level of responsibility in making this very nice birthday exhibition.

I start with Zoltan Balazs, artistic director of the Maladype Theatre. Two of the plays arranged by him inspired me to make the following pictures:

As a surprise guest Zoltan delivered a real surprise at the opening event, he greeted me with the poem of Zoltan Jekely, Expulsion from the Eden.

Lilka Koncsik, the art historion of the organizing galery The Artists’ Chamber started her speech with the followinh words:

“If we look around in this exhibition hall it stands out at once that this is not an ordinary exhibition. No paints, no graphite or any ordinary things anywhere. We can find instead stamp-pictures made with mastery meticulosity, with patience and great attention. It is easy to stop at any of the pictures and admire their smallest even detail. It is not graphic art, neither collage but something third genre, they are artworks out of artworks.

She, as an art historian understood at once one of the essential parts of my art which I also frequently speak about: I make rat pieces out of small art pieces, ie. stamps.

And another of Lilka’s sayings:

“We must say some words for the beginning about this genre of art which is so difficult to define. If we look at the from the angle of art history we have to mention two points of interface, one is the technique of the collage while the other is the object, or more exactly the art of object out of which Judit feed her art but only after a full reinterpretation.”

You can view Lika’s further thoughts already together with mine as well in the following video. I am sure it is worth viewing it:

And now let’s speak about the soldier, Tibor Mandi to who I owe extremely much. He and his small team has fed me with the largest amount of raw material for my pictures but what is even more important, he offered a great belief in me by inviting together with the members of the Aron Gabor Philately Club to exhibit in the Stefania Palace together with the as early as in 2019.

Photos taken on seven exhibitions presented together! I think only one thing remains for me after completing such a series: Thank you Tibor, very much! And there is one more very nice reminiscence, the opening event of the exhibition of the Stamp Museum:

I am very grateful for organizing this exhibition to Lilka and the while team of the gallery including Anita Repas and Denes Klujber as well. It was a kind of luck that they got acquainted with my pictures in Zagreb earlier this year, but is there a coincidence at all?

I would like to thank Zoltan again for his inspiring plays, for his opening thoughts and the poem read. It was a real honour what he told to my husband some days ago: “You really belong to the Maladype team already!

And finally, the economist, Jozsef Czimer! He was also the one to organize this exhibition for me. It is hard to imagine a nicer birthday gift than this exhibition. Many thanks to him for this nice evening and for the continuous support as well!

I hope you can realize by reading this newsletter how nice and exiting our world, the world of art is!
