I like the colours of autumn very much; they have inspired me several times already. Prior to making this picture I made very much of research work as I took into my head to use only British stamps to make the picture. But why? Because the British definitive stamps are very simple, the feature their monarch and each value, and there are many of them, brings a different colour. Finally, I found many monarchs and also different countries of the British empire. The oldest stamp I found featured Queen Victoria and the stamp on it was from 1895. It is unbelievable that such a stamp does not represent serious value! At least I received it even now as a kind of mass stamp.
