I liked books very much already in my childhood. I met with Vuk the little fox-cub when reading Istvan Fekete’s tale story that early. Later as a mother we view already with my children the cartoon of the same title made by Attila Dargay based on the tale story. We jittered through Vuk’s adventurous life starting from his birth to the family formation. The cartoon served also as a basis for issuing a stamp series in 1982. The series feature the major figures of the cartoon; Vuk, the orphaned fox-cub, his uncle Karak, the two hunter-dogs and also their chases. I eyeballed with these very nice stamps for a long time and suddenly the picture appeared for me in my dream so only the gluing remained thereafter.
