This picture was inspired by the gala concert given at the Debrecen Great Church to commemorate the 140th anniversary of the great Hungarian composer Zoltan Kodaly. Koday once said: “Do sing me something and I tell who you are.” I sincerely hope that of anyone looks at the picture Our Heritage would know without a single word who I am. I was born to be Hungarian who is proud of her ancestors and of their art. To make this picture I was supported by the great number of nice Hungarian stamps featuring women and men of different parts of Hungary in their tradition clothes. On other of the used stamps one can admire lace works of the Halas county one of which came to be par of this picture in original. I received it from my grandmother many years ago.
