The whole month of May was characterized by the presence of flowers in my life. It started with the exhibition titled Flower Waltz in the beginning of the month a finished with my exhibition MoCoMo: Stamps and nature organized in the frames of the 21st European Horticulture and Art of Garden Show.

I was invited to the waltz by the HMVC Contemporary Gallery in New York City who organize online exhibitions each month on their website. They invited 54 artists to participate in their May exhibition Flower Waltz to present one picture each from many countries of the world. I participated with one of my favourite pictures, with the Golden Summer made in 2020. The birth of this picture was preceded by a special excursion together with my daughter Zsofi.

The exhibition was seen on the first page of the website for May but when the exhibition itself closes it will be moved to the following link:

You can view just two pictures of the exhibition for a kind of teaser:

The chosen 54 pictures were presented by HMVC Gallery in another place too, This was the electronic table on New York City’s central place, the well-known Times Square where I already had an exhibition before organized by the Arteom Gallery.

The idea of making an exhibition in Fehervarcsurgo was raised by our stamp-collector friend Jozsef Fehervari from Szekesfehervar. He attended my Stefania Palace exhibition last fall and suggested us to organize a joint exhibition together with the Stamp Collectors’ Club of the City of Szekesfehervar in the Karolyi Castle close to them in the course of the 21st European Horticulture and Art of Garden Show. I really did like the idea as this event offered me a possibility to exhibit some of my pictures made in my early years as artist.

This European level event was opened by the Angelica Karolyi and George Karolyi, foundres of the organizer, the Jozsef Karolyi Foundation - https://www.karolyi.org.hu. The Guest of Honour countries, France and Poland were represented by Matthieu Berton, the director of the French Institute in Budapest and Jacek Sladewski charge d’affaires of the Embassy of Poland. The organizer set up a separate opening event for our joint exhibition with the stamp collectors for Saturday morning. I think it is natural that the leading picture will be my Csontvary paraphrase so much liked ny many people. This one was presented in my last newsletter so I show you here two other pictures from this exhibition. One of the is Love made for Christmas in 2018 while the other is also a result of the covid period from 2020 titled The Spring is here!

My exhibition will be opened until mid-June so it is my suggestion to make a nice excursion to the Karolyi Castle and see my pictures. And to finish this newsletter some photos made in the Castle-park and the exhibition in Fehervarcsurgo:
